Dear dance sport friends and guests at the Vienna Dance Concourse 2020 - we will meet
ON A NEW DATE IN 2021:
The next Vienna Dance Concourse will take place on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2021!
The change was unavoidable due to the current explosion of COVID-cases all over Europe. For a competition in January 2021 no consequent practice and preparation for competitive dancing can be espected, no reliable travel and hotel planning is possible and above all a significant health threat can not bei excluded or avoided in January.
All current, active entries have been rewritten to the new dates - please check the entry-lists. New entries are possible again via the Internet. Entry conditions (categories, entry fee) remain unchanged as before. Entry positions and entry fees remain valid.
The Timetable has been temporarily changed per Dec 13th, 2020 with following conditions:
- all competitions remain on the same date as published by the WDSF
- entry numbers have been adjusted according to new expectations and enable in many comps Redance Rounds!
- Dance of Colors is cancelled due to extreme mixture of categories
- Central "Covid-Break" for clearing the hall, desinfection and new setup of judges.
- two check-In-times for first and second competition groups, Check-In in a side room.
- practice wll be limited to a side room.
- changing rooms separated (not visible in the timetable now)
- one-way-systems in the hall (not visible in the timetable)
- price giving as soon as possible after the Final for soon leaving the hall and the changing rooms.
We all hope that the general health situation and the spread of the virus will calm down beginning of 2021, so that we can enjoy the event, for which we have been working with joy and initiative for a whole year.
